Day 21

So up at 4.15am for a 5am departure from Canna.  Having looked at the weather we decided to go for an early start and a big run up the Outer Hebrides as far as we can get.  Main target being East Loch Tarbert

Finally the sun was out and we could see for at least 20 miles all round.

We had an uneventful run across the Little Minch as the sea flattened and the wind died.  The navigation into Scalpay is more than a little challenging with hidden rocks and a very narrow approach.  Nick however was up to the challenge and piloted us safely into the pontoon.  We arrived in Scalpay Marina at 3.15pm having travelled 57 miles today.
